Vintage 1950s Old Pawn Navajo Sterling Silver and Agate Cuff 32316

A charming Old Pawn sterling silver cuff bracelet, Navajo-crafted, from the 1950s.  An oval red agate cabochon – long believed by the Diné people as a grounding stone that wards off negative energies – is centered with a simple sterling bezel and an elaborately stamped fan.

A smaller bracelet with modest adjustability, the cuff measures 7 1/2.”  Total weight is 26 grams.

While it features no hallmark or stamp – not uncommon during the 1950s – it tests as sterling silver and was crafted in Gallup, New Mexico.
