Hand-Painted Nepalese Art on Hand-Crafted Paper 32348

A charming hand-painted art piece that celebrates traditional Nepalese customs, the design features two women with one drawing water from a well and the other tending to her yaks.

A one-of-a-kind piece on hand-crafted paper, this art piece measures 8” in height and 11 ½” in width.  There is a playfulness - whimsy?! - to the organic, almost primitive painting style which makes it a lovely addition to home or office.

Painted by artist Rado Takum of the Janakpur Women’s Development Center, it can be displayed as-is or easily framed.  A certificate of authenticity and a description of the cooperative is on the back of the art.
